Pursue ongoing improvements in the following areas
As a company which has the business base in the community, we value relations with that, and get involved in various activities for the society.
We are registered for "Ritto Cleaning & Beautification Patronage(mécénat)", volunteer activities by local companies and organizations to clean up the streets and to take care of the street trees.
Every month, our directors and employees, including affiliated company workers on our site, voluntarily work on the activities.
We have some wells on out site for emergency purpose and have registered them as "Emergency Wells" to be able to supply the well water to our neighboring residents in case of emergency.
Because, if the water supply facility would be damaged in the event of a disaster such as earthquake, the shortage of domestic water required for bathrooms and laundry would become a problem due to cutoff of water supply.
We have an agreement on forest development with a local forestry association to support forest maintenance.
This forest development enhances the multiple functions of the forest around Lake Biwa, as well as contributes to the prevention of global warming.
Every year, we receive certification for the amount of CO2 absorption from Shiga Prefecture.
We are registered as a "Nearby Emergency Station", and cooperates with the first aid by the AED (Automated External Defibrillator) in the event of an unexpected accident or sudden illness.
In preparation for the emergency, some of our colleagues take lifesaving training to be able to give emergency first aid to help victims and patients until the ambulance arrives.
